3D Art

event imageErik Greenawalt, who in real life is a CPA working in corporate finance, is also a certified "master" chalk artist in living in the Pittsburgh area. He participates in street painting festivals around the country; here he joins other artists in creating large-scale, elaborate chalk drawings over several days. Eric will be doing three-dimensional art for our guests to pose and get a photo. If you have never seen 3D chalk or painted art on the ground, then you must plan to come and see this. When viewed with your eyes it seems like a two dimensional elongated and distorted picture. But look through your camera, and you will see a well-proportioned three-dimensional image, where you can be part of the design.

Ken Tynan, the chainsaw artist who created the Roberto Clemente & the Indian Village carvings in Graham Park and has 10 of his chainsaw carvings throughout Cranberry Township parks, will be back again this year! Over three days, he will be carving our very own Cranberry Township’s C.T. Alligator to be displayed at the Waterpark. In addition, Ken will be carving a miniature village. Those pieces will be available for sale during Community Days. Ken, who lives in Butler, PA, has carved throughout the USA and internationally, and has been featured on TV. Come out and see what Ken is carving, as it is amazing to see the transformation of a 600-pound log into an incredible work of art.

KardaZ is a six member pop/rock band styled from the Look and Sound of the 1960s and 1970s. The collective talents of the members add a wide variety of vocal and musical sounds. They replicate flawlessly the harmonic vocals and visual perspectives of the American and British pop/rock scene of the era. They have performed at many festivals, fairs, and concert venues thru out the western Pennsylvania area as well as many clubs and private parties. The band has received a standing ovation from the audience at the Chevrolet Ampitheatre at the opening of the Beach Boys show and have appeared at Heinz Field with The Monkees. Chainsaw EXPO & Village

Chainsaw Carvers VillageCTCC CHAINSAW EXPO & VILLAGE

This is BIG! And an event you want to see in person.

We are hosting the largest chainsaw carving event of renowned chainsaw artists in Western PA.  Twelve (12) International Chainsaw Artists  will be creating sculptures for 3 days plus bringing favorite carvings they previously made prior to the event. These guys are the best of the best and they are coming to Cranberry Community Days for you to see them in action . These guys command commissions of sculptures in the five figures but everything sold at Community Days will be starting  in the low three figure range. The show is being organized via CTCC and Ken Tynan, the chainsaw artist that did Roberto Clemente & the Indian Village in Graham  Park. All chainsaws running during Community Days will be electric or cordless saws to keep noise to a minimum.

All sculptures  will be available for sale at the Chainsaw Expo & Village during Community Days from July 12-14. Sculptures will be sold three ways:

  • On-site,  at the Chainsaw Village. There will be dozens of carvings available including the ones that are made during the event. Everything is for sale.....
